Gujarat GUJCET 2013 NEET - GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) 2013, Exma Date/ Admit Card/ Result
Gujarat Health Minister Nitin Patel said on Friday that Gujarat would hold its own version of Common Entrance Test for admission into medical courses in the state universities if the Centre-proposed National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2013 ) was delayed due to legal hurdles.
GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) used to be conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Education Department – Government of Gujarat for admission into various medical, engineering and pharmacy courses in the state of Gujarat. This exam is open only to candidates who belong to the state of Gujarat.
A statement from State Health Department read that Gujarat would conduct GUJCET 2013 if the differences between state governments and MCI wasn’t sorted out before the academic year beginning in March-April.
Incidentally, Gujarat is one of the states which had filed a joint petition against NEET.
