Prasar Bharati notifies Combined Recruitment for the post of Engineering Assistant and Technician in Prasar Bharati Examination-2013. Closing Date: 22.03.2013

Prasar Bharati, invites applications from Indian Nationals who fulfill the required qualifications for recruitment of Engineering Assistant and Technician Posts through Online Applications. Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Government of Indian, will make recruitment to these posts on behalf of the Prasar Bharati under special dispensation given by the Government. Educational Qualifications:

For Engineering Assistant-Post Code ‘A’:

(a) Three years Diploma in Radio / Telecommunication / Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.

(b) One year experience in the related field

OR

(a) Degree with Physics as one of the subjects from a recognized University/ Institute.

(b) One year experience in the related field.

OR

Degree in Telecommunication/Electronics/Electrical/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

Desirable: Knowledge of Wireless Radio Engineering.

For Technician- Post Code ‘B’:-

(i) 10+2 pass from a recognized Board. (ii) Diploma of at least 2 years duration in Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Pay Scale:

For Engineering Assistant: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + GP 4200/-
For Technician: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20,200 + GP 2400/-
Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination which will be conducted by Staff Selection Commission. The examination will consist of two papers. There is an interview for the post of Engineering Assistant will be of 100marks.

Combined Recruitment for the post of Engineering Assistant and Technician in Prasar Bharati Examination – 2013

Staff Selection Commission will hold a Combined All India Open Examination on 26/05/2013 for recruitment to the posts of  Engineer Assistants and Technicians in The Prasar Bharati (PB), which is a statutory autonomous body established under the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act 1990, India‘s largest broadcaster and comprises Doordarshan & All India Radio. SSC invites Online applications for the following posts : 

1. Engineering Assistant : 1290 posts (UR-659, SC-201, ST-135, OBC-295, PWD-37), Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200/-, Age : 30 years as on 01/01/2013
2. Technician : 340 posts (UR-181, SC-54, ST-34, OBC-71, PWD-7, Ex.SM-35), Pay Scale : Rs.  5200 - 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-, Age : 18-25 years as on 01/01/2013

Fee : Rs. 200/- in to be paid in SBI by payment challan or by Net Banking. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women and Ex-servicemen candidates.
