Number of vacancies : 400
Name of posts :
1. Sub-Inspector (Un-armed): 282 Posts
2. Lady Sub-Inspector (Un-armed): 118 Posts
Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Candidates age should not be below than 20 yrs and not be above than 27 yrs as on 01-01-2013. Age Relaxation will be extended as per govt norms.
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have Degree from a recognized University or its Equivalent.
Application Form Fee :
1. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 150 in the form of A/C Payee Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank / IPO purchased in favour of “West Bengal Police Recruitment Board” payable at Kolkata.
2. SC/ST Candidates are not required to pay any Fee.
Selection Process : Initially Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Preliminary Exam, Final Exam and Personal Interview. After then Final Selection will be done on the basis of Medical examination and verification of antecedent.
How to Apply : Candidates can apply only through Offline mode i.e Candidates are required to send dully filled application form along with relevant documents to the following Address :
